South East of England. South East Marine Week - a host of marine activities to help save our threatened marine wildlife and celebrate the UK's magnificent sea plants and animals.
Tongue, W. Sutherland. BSBI four day field meeting to look at critical taxa on the north coast with the emphasis on diversity and taxonomic problems in Euphrasia and with the opportunity to see some of the rich flora of the area.

walk - discover more about the summertime wildflowers at Rievaulx Terrace.
Salisbury Plain Training Area, Salisbury. BSBI field meeting: visit some of the rich and varied habitats of the military training area. The first day will be spent exploring chalk grasslands in the east where a range of plants such as Dianthus deltoides and Orobanche elatior should be in flower. In addition, we will visit a number of arable sites to look for Galeopsis angustifolia and Valerianella dentata. The morning of the second day will be spent in the west where the largest UK population of Cirsium tuberosum is found.
